I had lost hope of joining high school after my primary education, my parents did not have any money, we were barely surviving, my parents worked as casual workers, did not have enough money to take me to school, SECBO came in to support.
Dropped out of school , lost hope in going back, then Griffin , one of the directors of SECBO, heard my story and came to our home, they paid my whole years' school fees, I am forever grateful.
After my primary education, did not have a chance for any skill or training, had not done so well in my final exams for primary level, so I had lost hope, wanted just to start doing manual work and and daily odd jobs, but SECBO came in and paid for my vocation training in carpentry and joinery.
I now learn dress making and tailoring for clothe design, we are very grateful for SECBO, my family had lost hope in me, I was good with my hands but struggled in school, so when I dropped out because of performance, I did not know what to do, SECBO helped me start a skill in clothe design and now I enjoy it.
I am now in high school because of SECBO, had done so well in my primary education final exams, but since I am from a poor background, staying with my grandparents, had lost hope of ever joining high school, now I am in grade 10, thanks to SECBO.
